All of Which Is Like “Sleeping Beauty” Forever Awaiting “The True Love Kiss” of “Her Prince”, that Is, of “Her Prince” Who Can Never, Ever Truly Come To Her, Because In Truth She Has “Fallen In Love” With “The 7 Dwarfs”, That Is, Because In Truth “Her Life” Has Mistakenly “Fallen In Love” With “The 7 Hells” That Have Now Fully Manifested Within “Her Mind” Within Her, And As Such, She Has Truly Become “A Life” That Does Not Truly Want To Awaken To “Its Truth”, and that is for sure.

Bawa. The way “This Child of Light” was born is mysterious and the way it grows is not as mysterious. It grows as a result of me obeying “My Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.)”.
Bawa. He has asked “My Wisdom”, Not “Me”, to do many things in the past few years, many of which I have been unable to do because of “My” lack of understanding of “Myself”, because of “My” lack of the ability to NOT “Think Exclusively” About “Myself”, For Example, That “I Have To Understand Him”, Or God, Or That “I” Have To motivate myself, or because of just plain stubbornness, which as Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) says, is the opposite of love.
Bawa. A major thing Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) asked me to do was opposite to how I envisioned living my life. This was to stop going to the Fellowship. I was building my life around the Fellowship and considered that when I retired, I'd have the time to spend more time there, typing Bawa's discourses, joining in the prayers, perhaps teaching Arabic, helping in the office, talking to new people, going to the meetings, and just being “a presence” at the Fellowship.
Bawa. When Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) told me not to go it took me a few passes before I actually did stop going. There was a great disconnect between what he asked me to do and what I felt inside that I was meant to be doing or wanted to do. All this had to do with my conception of “who I am”, and of “where I am”, and “what I'm doing” (what is happening), which as Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) says is never what you think.
Bawa. So to give me the room to find or to clear away enough space for “The Light Child” to grow, I have to be alone. I also needed structure. Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) tried many different approaches to establishing these conditions in my life unbeknownst to me. When I was working I had to call him on the phone every hour. When I retired, he wanted me to volunteer at a hospital which was really inimical to my understanding of my station in life. I did not want to give away my services for free and I did not like being around people who were sick. When I told him those things he was so amazed that a person could be so backward as to think the way I did. When I actually did volunteer, it was totally different from those preconceptions and afforded good learning.
Bawa. In our many conversations, Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) let me know that I am full of blood ties and if the angel of death comes now, I will be relegated to a hell of blood ties where he said he would visit me, but wouldn't it be better to be:
“God Witnessing Himself
Awakening To Himself”,
Within “The Heart” of “The One”
Who Will Truly Let Himself "End In God”,
As Now “The Place”
Where “Everyone Comes To Greet God”,
And “Give Up The Ghost",
That Is, To "Willingly And Freely”,
Let Themselves “End In God”,
Disappearing Into
“The Perfect Ending” of “Their Perfect Story”,
and that is for sure."
Bawa. One subtlety is that you can't do the things that Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) asks you to do because you want to get something out of it, or from a fear of not getting something if you don't do it. Part of the relationship you establish with “Your Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.)” is that you obey him because he is telling you to do it. Period.
Bawa. It's sort of like with your parents, when they say “Do This” because I told you so. But it's done out of love and not out of fear. This is one reason I would not always obey. It was because I realized that if I did obey, it would only be doing it out of fear of hell or whatever, and I did not want to live my life like that. The bottom line is no matter who you are, you can't do what “Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.)” asks, because only God can do anything. Only God can go to God, and only God can turn away from God, and only God Can turn back to God. In one of his latest messages Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) says:

Bawa. Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen's (Ral.) words (in the multi colored lettering) are available on line in his daily wisdom messages and love letters which he sends out to anyone who will ask him. The difference between his words and others is the difference between the rain water falling, and water which flows down the mountain side collecting the energies of the elements, and how these two different kinds of water will nourish the vegetation.
Bawa. The rainwater falling has a magnetic energy which actually gives life to the plant, which is lost in the other. Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) synthesizes Bawa Muhaiyaddeen's (Ral.) teachings to a new level, which he explains as their lives joining together to produce the grandchild Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) And the living words of Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) Now has the power to destroy the ignorance in the darkness which is preventing “The Light Child” to live and grow.
Bawa. I have undergone much mental pain, trouble and tribulation in my life which has fed a desire for comfort to alleviate or escape from the pain. For example I have had insomnia, and so have tried different ways of going to sleep, some of which work and then backfire in some way. So when I am praying at night it's been to conk myself out, not really out of sincere prayer.
Bawa. Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) has told me that I should just get on my knees and not get up until Only God Is There, As “One With” Me, But somehow I turn “That Intention” into praying until I'm tired enough to go to sleep. The getting to sleep and my comfort have been more important than anything.
Bawa. Having had mental problems as a result of sleeplessness is my justification for putting so much importance in a good nights sleep. The mind is very powerful when it has you under it's thumb. So I've experienced the terrors and evils of being trapped in my mind. But God Within “The Light Child” actually dispels these things. My life has undergone a huge change not by any pills or techniques but just this feeling in my heart of peace that cannot be moved by whatever the mind may come up with in terms of worry or fear.
Bawa. These worries and fears actually have a use in that only God Within “The Light Child” can cure them. As long as they're there it indicates that “God’s Light Child” is a prisoner inside of “Your Mind” Within You. Or as Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) says, it is Jesus, peace be upon him, on his cross, held there by the nails of your desires. And you Truly Joined “In Partnership” With God Within You, As “One With” God Within You, As “Two Lives Now Living As One Life”, Within God Within You, have to free him from the cross, Not By yourself, Or because you put him there, But Rather, By God’s Intervention In “His Life”, Within “Your Life”, Within God Within You, and that is for sure..
Bawa. Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) says that Jesus (A.S.) Did not die for “Our Sins”, But Rather, He Died So “We Could Sin”, That is, So “Our Pure Life” Could Become “An Impure Life”, That Is, So “Our Pure Life” Could Become “A Life of Sin”, of “Darkness and Evil”, Within “Our Mind’ Within Us, As In Truth, if you like, 1/2 of “God’s School of Contrast” For “Our Soul”, With “Our Awakened Wisdom”, As Our “Light Child”, Making Up The Other Half of “God’s School of Contrast” For “Our Soul”, For “The Benefit, For The Learning” of “Our Soul”, That Is, As Jesus (A.S.) As “Our Soul” Crucified On “The Cross” of “Our Mind’, By “The Nails” Or Desires of “Our Body”, That is, immobilized on the cross which enables “Our Life” to sin.
Bawa. In This Way, Jesus (A. S.) has died for “Our Life”, and he expects “Our Life” to return the favor: to end, or to die for Him, so “Having Understood” The Sins of “Our Impure Life”, Within “Our Mind” Within Us, That Is, Within “His School of Contrast”, He can get off of His cross, Again Appear As “Our Pure Life”, But Now As “One With” Our Awakened Wisdom, Which Is “Our 6th Level of Wisdom”.
Bawa. And Having “Understood” His Cross & Nails, That Is, Having Understood “Our Impure Life”, That Is, Having Understood “The Darkness” of “Our Life”, That Is, Having Understood About “Who He Is Not”, In His “School of Contrast”, He goes in search of “His Next School”, Which Is “The School of Light”, To Learn About “Who He Is”, which is of God, That Is, He Goes In Search of the Nur of “Our Life”, Which Is “The Light” of Our Divine Luminous Wisdom, That Is, Which Is “The Light” of “Our 7th Level of Wisdom”, In Order To Next Understand About “The Light” of “Our Life”, all of which is God's next step in His search for Himself, hidden within Himself, Within us.
Bawa. Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) says that God does not want “Our Good Qualities”, First, Because In Truth “That” Is Not What “God is Lacking” Within us, That Is Not What “God Needs” Within us, For What God Is Now Doing, Within us, Which Is God Building “The School of Contrast” For “Our Soul”, Within us, And Second, Because “We Don’t Have Good Qualities”, Because In Truth “Only” God Is “Good”, Not People, Because In Truth Only God Is “The Good Qualities” of God, Not People, and that is for sure.
Bawa. Instead What God Needs From “Our Life” Is ‘The Current State” of “Our Life”, Which In Truth Is “Our Bad Qualities”, That Is, What God Wants From “Our Life” Is “Our Impure Life”, That Is, For It To Join Up With God, For What “God Is Doing”, Within us, That Is, To Become “One With” God, if you like, That Is, To Become “One With”, if you like, With “Our Pure Life”, Now For Your Age, Now For All Life, That Is, To Become “One With” The Pure Life of God That Is Now Still Living In “The World” With us, Which In Truth Is Now Our Dearest Loving Brother “Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.)”, In Whom “God Is Well Pleased”, As Now In Truth “Our Wisdom”, As Now In Truth “Our Direct Connection To God” Within us, if we like, In Order For God To Finish Building God’s “School of Contrast” For “Our Soul”, Within us, And Using It, “Liberate Our Soul” From us, By Teaching It “What It Does Not Know”, and that is for sure.
Bawa. That Is, God Wants From You “What You Truly Have” Not What “You Think You Have” In “Your Ignorance” of God, And Now In “Your Arrogance About Your Ignorance of God”, And What You Now “Truly Have”, Is “Your Bad Qualities”, That Is, And What You Now “Truly Have”, Is “Your Impure Life”, Within “Your Mind” Within You, and that is for sure.
Bawa. All of Which Now Makes Up “Your Current Life of Darkness”, Within “Your Mind” Within You, But Which When Joined As “One With”, if you like, With “Your Grace Awakened Wisdom” of God Within You, As “Your Life of Light”, Within God Within You, Allows God To Complete “The School of Contrast” For “Your Soul”, And Then “Teach It” What It Does Not Know, and that is for sure.
Bawa. And In Truth, “This”, And Only “This”, That Is, “Your Current Life” of Darkness, That Is, “Your Current Life” of “Your Bad Qualities”, Is “The Wealth” of “Your Current Life”, As In Truth “What Is of True Value” To God Within us, As What In Truth You Can Truly Give To God, Moment To Moment, As You Live Out “Your Life” In The World, Praising God For Everything (Al-hamdu lillah), And Absolute Trust & Surrender To God (Tawakul Allah), But In Truth With “You” Doing “This”, And Only With “You” Doing “This”, With No Desire For Anything, Simply Because “Your Life” In Truth Belongs To God, Not To “Your Monkey Mind”, Or To “Your Dog of Desire, Or To “Your Mother or Father”, Or To “Your Wife Or Husband”, Or To “Your Children”, Or To “Your Race, Religion, Or Blood Ties”, and that is for sure.
Bawa. So “Your Current Life” of Darkness & Evil, Now “Living and Thriving” Within “Your Mind’ Within You, Is Currently “The Greatest Wealth” of “Your Life”, Because In Truth “These are yours to trade”, That is, These Are How “You Do Business” With God, Giving God What “You Have”, Which Is “Your Darkness & Evil”, Allowing God to Give To you What God Has, and that is for sure.
Bawa. That Is, Allowing God to Give To you What God Has, Which Is First To “Heal Your Mind” of “Its Illness”, Which Is “Your Ego Life”, On “The Illusory Outside” of You, Which In My Case, Is “Elizabeth Weiss” As “A Woman”, As “A Wife”, As “A Mother”, And As “A Friend”, By Convincing “Your Life” To End Before “The Grave”, That Is, Before “Your Grave” Finds You In “Your Current State” of “Illusory Separation” From God, Within you, And Second, Which Is To “Heal Your Soul” of “Its Illness”,
Which First Is “God’s Ignorance” of “The Creation of God”, And Second is “God’s Ignorance” of God, and that is for sure.
Bawa. That Is, Allowing God to Give To you What God Has, Which Is First “His Light”, Now On “The Outside” of You, Now Still Living In “The World” With You, As Now “The Life and Teaching”, And “The Heart”, And “The Song” (See "God's Song" of "Grace, Wisdom, and 'Ilm (Divine Knowledge)"), of Your Dearest Loving Son, And Our Dearest Loving Brother, Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.), In Whom “You Are Well Pleased”, and that is for sure.
Bawa. This means that those qualities you're been trying to escape from actually help “Your Life”, because, number one: they show you that “Your Light Child” is imprisoned -- if “Your Light Child” wasn't imprisoned you would not be experiencing your bad qualities as discomfort, and number two: they reveal to you the state of your mind and all of these things you can be handing to God, as what you have that's honestly yours to give God.
Bawa. This is why Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) says:

Showing it love and comfort, wisdom will teach the mind and bring it to a state of peace.
God created this wisdom-psychology within man.
Through this, one can heal all the difficulties which arise from the joy and sorrows, thoughts and intentions of the mind.
If you utilize this inherent wisdom-psychology correctly, you will never suffer from disturbances of the mind or from many of the common physical illnesses.
That psychology will never leave you; it will teach you whenever necessary. Please think about this.

Bawa. Having problems plus a connection to Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) gives you a chance to access this wisdom-psychology which allows “The Light Child” to grow.
Bawa. Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) uses the analogy of --- if you get a letter that is addressed to your neighbor what do you do? And of course the answer is you give the letter to your neighbor.
Bawa. So this is equivalent to your evil qualities and thoughts. They are not “Your Life” since the central tenant of Sufism is I do not exist – so since you don't exist these thoughts aren't yours or you -- they belong to God. So you can hand them to God the same way you would hand your neighbors' letter back to them. And when you do this you say,
Thank You O God,
No Thank You O God,
What's Next?
Bawa. In this way you don't take ownership of those things (which cuts out the whole guilt thing), and you allow God to use them up for what He is doing. And what God is doing now according to Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) is really amazing.
Bawa. Since the world is at the end of this current cycle, God is tying up everything, so you never know what is the value To God of the things that are going on in your life. But He can't take them without your permission. He has given us everything and it is our choice what we keep.
Bawa. So Keep Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.), As Now “Your Wisdom”, As Now “Your Direct Connection” To God, Within you, And Give Everything Else Back To God, Saying,
Thank You O God,
No Thank You O God,
What's Next?
Bawa. When we say “Bawa” we are putting “Bawa” in front and in that space that's created by “Bawa standing up” in “Our Heart” we automatically “sit down” and let Him manifest Him, But This Time, Within “God’s Life” Within “Our Life”, Within Us.
Bawa. Bawa joins “Our Lives” in a special part of “Our Heart”, In “The Light” Part of “Our Heart”, that is, In The Part of “Our Heart” That Is not connected to Us, But Rather Is Directly Connect To God, With Us Now Living In “The Dark Part” of “Our Heart”, as there is no relationship between light and darkness.
Bawa. So we have to “Task Bawa” in order for him to leave “His space” and come into “Our Heart”, So We Can “Join Him” In “What He Is Doing”, Within God Within us, That is, By us “Letting End” What In Truth “What We Only Think” That “We Are Doing”, But Which In Truth Is Only Something About “Our Current Life” of “Darkness & Evil” Within “Our Mind” Within Us, Which In Truth Is “Nothing”.
Bawa. That Is, So We Can “Join Him” In “What He Is Doing”, Within God Within us, That is, By Join With God In Beginning “What God Is Really Doing”, Within God Within Us, Which In Truth Is “The Everything of God” That Now Makes Up All of “The Parts” of “God’s Story”, Within God Within us, Which Is “The Story” of “The Oneness” of God And True Man, Within God Within Us, and that is for sure.
Bawa. It's not a matter of Him taking over “Our Life” because then “Our Life” would not grow or change. But it is a matter of God joining “Our Life”, Within “Our Mind” Within Us, With “His Life”, Within God Within Us, And of “Our Life” Enthusiastically “Letting Him”, That is, And of “Our Life” Enthusiastically “Letting God” Have “His Way” With us, and that is for sure.
Bawa. And In “This Way”, And Only In “This Way”, With “Our Life” Letting God Within Us First create “A New Life”, Within God Within Us, which is “The Child of Light”, Within God Within Us, While Both “God And Our Life” Still Can, That Is, Before “Our Life Dies To The Flesh” In “Our Current State” of Illusory Separation” From God Within Us, And “Hell Becomes The Only Eternal Fate”, For “Our Life”, and that is for sure.
Bawa. The wonderful thing about Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen's (Ral.) teaching is that it is going somewhere. He explains the “HOW”. He explains (and I am embryonic in my understudying of this) how God lives in us and we live in God.
We are searching for God while God is also searching for us. God is inside a seed that He planted inside of us at the beginning of creation with the intention that the seed would become aware of itself and grow into a tree with 1,000 seeds, which Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) describes thusly:
One Within “The Other” As One,
One Revealing “The Other” Within It,
One Disappearing Within “The One” Being Revealed,
Only To Be Revealed Again, By “The Other”,
As It “Returns The Favor”,
Revealing And Disappearing Within “The One” Within it,
and that is for sure.
But This Time “A 1000 Fold”,
As “The 1000 Generosities of God”,
For The Benefit of All of The Creation of God,
Within “The 18,000 Universes”,
Within Man And Within God,
And
Within God And Within Man,
and that is for sure.
So In The End,
“There Is No Child Left Behind”,
So In The End,
“There Is Nothing Still Separating You From You”,

And Second, Because In “My Current State”, That Is, As Now Living “The Life” of “The Egoism of The I”, Within “My Mind” Within Me, Anything That “The Ego Life” Says, it doesn't really mean it, for example, when It asks for forgiveness, for in truth as a “Creation of God” within “My Mind”, Completely In Ignorance of God, Within Me, In Truth it is incapable of acting like anything else, and that is for sure.
Bawa. But God Within Me Can Deal With “This Apparent Hypocrisy” Within me, So At All Times, Turn To God Within You, Rather Than To “Yourself, Within “Your Mind” Within You, That Is, At All Times, Turn To God Within You, As “Your Only Friend”, As “Your Only Guide”, As “The Only One” Who Is Truly Worthy of “Your Love”, and that is for sure.
Bawa. I hope by excerpting Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen's (Ral.) words a disservice isn't done, because He puts them together purposefully and carefully. I am hoping the above selections will reflect the whole as “a fractal” of the teaching because this to me is proof of the validity of the words, each idea beautifully reflects and proves the whole.
