Bawa. Oh God please come and let me step back and you step forward and write this chapter of Bawa for Dummies. Please you must come and write this. This is how Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen's (Ral.) Wisdom Messages say that you have to step back and invite God to step forward and pray and that in doing that you have correctly done your duty.

Bawa. This is perfect because the mind is so worried that it won't pray correctly or it won't do the correct duty because it is working for wages to get into heaven. When I used to sit with Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.), he would discourse for a while and then say now forget everything I told you. It wasn't something to keep or own. He said what had to hear the words heard the words and that was enough.
Bawa. So words that come in this way must be so amazing and again I direct you to read the Wisdom Messages.

Even though hypocritically enough I am not telling anyone on the outside to read these messages. And this is a confession I'm making because, and that I justify because, Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) also says, referring to his state:

Bawa. So Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) is a "place", not a "person".
Bawa. What is going on at "this place", we know as Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.), is very valuable real estate, because it is the intersection of God and Man. The potential to be "this place" exists in all of us, but Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) is the only one who has sacrificed (ended) his life as "a person" to allow God's next step to appear:

Bawa. As An Example of Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen's (Ral.) Wisdom Messages.
Bawa. Each Wisdom Message is an amazing journey through the different rooms of wisdom that Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) has constructed, in his house of wisdom, which is a house that exist in our hearts.
Bawa. This is like the painting that Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) painted of the Inner Mosque.
Bawa. Philosophers have always tried to pry open the secrets of what Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen is addressing. The questions "Who am I? Who is God? Why did God create the world? Is God still involved with the world? Is the world coming to an end?" Philosophers seem to make these questions even more complex then they are, maybe to hide the fact that they don't really know what they are talking about, but they have a very complex lens that they're looking through to find the answer. But Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) is extremely clear about these things.
Bawa. This is not to say that these are simple sayings and that it isn't difficult to understand, without giving of yourself, without surrendering yourself to what you are reading sincerely and patiently and also using every bit of your intelligence and other levels of consciousness which do start to come out if you are to understand what he is talking about.
Bawa. Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen looks at things from many, many different angles or facets and so you have to be flexible when reading his wisdom messages and his other teachings which are all on a website he has been constructing for the last 30 years.
Bawa. In one of His latest letters, Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) asks us to read that wisdom message with an open mind asking God to make it all so:
Bawa. Please, Please, Please Read “Wisdom Message 334”, That Was Just Sent To You, With “An Open Heart” Asking God, Before You Read It, To “Make It All So”, Within God Within You, Holding Back Nothing of “Your Current Life” From God, Giving It All Back To Him As “Your Debt of Birth”, Allowing God To Transform It All Into “The Understanding” of “His Trust Property”, Which Is “Your Soul”, Which Is “What God Gave" To "Your Life”, When “Your Life” Came Into “The Womb” of “Your Mother”, and that is for sure.
Bawa. I remember sitting at the fellowship with Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen, realizing that his explanations would help me see Bawa Muhaiyaddeen's (Ral.) teachings more clearly, tie them together, and expose new meanings within them. It is tempting to watch Bawa Muhaiyaddeen's (Ral.) videos and listen to his tapes and just keep imbibing them but eventually shouldn't that take you somewhere other than you just saying at the end,
"Oh that was wonderful
that was the best I've ever heard!"
Bawa. All of which in truth is sort of like a dead end.
Bawa. It's pleasurable, and Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) says that religion is pleasure. But don't we want something more? When we first came to the Fellowship weren't we searching for something real? But unfortunately the mind brings everything down to its level so in spite of our best intentions we have fallen down, at least that's what happened to me.
Bawa. Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen's writings are very profuse, dense and and huge, large, lengthy. This might be off-putting to people who may think "this guy is manic". But if you consider the immensity of the topics he is addressing, any less would not be fitting of the magnificence of what he is showing us. His creative abilities mirror the love, the benevolence the immense giving, the Rahmat, the Mercy of the Universe in Him that is speaking. It is what he is in love with, what he is looking at, what he has found and is the common wealth that he has surrendered to and is willing to share, that is reflected in his writings.
Bawa. If you meet Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) you will find that in person he is larger than life also. One time we were speaking and after five hours he said,
"I was finished with you three hours ago
but Bawa wasn't."
Bawa/ This reflects him, how Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) has merged with Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.). He does not do anything without doing it with Bawa. So we get the benefit of this union of of Bawa and Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (and God is most pleased with them both). We do not know how long Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) will be with us but he says things will change when he leaves the world. The window of opportunity to understand his teachings will shut. So I think we should take advantage of what God has provided for us at this time and from him learn to listen to what Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) has to say.
Bawa. Surat Nur which is about Prophet Noah (A.S.), reminds me of Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.). Noah (A.S.) was not taken seriously as many of the prophets weren't and as Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) isn't. God is not depleted by people not taking His prophets and messengers seriously. And Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) is perfectly blissful in his surrender to Allah (Jal.) and just keeps going further into him, with what God is showing him, so for him he is not looking for a group of people to follow him or anything. But I wouldn't be so quick to shrug him off, or what He says, without first tasting what's there with an open heart.
Bawa. As it says in the publication "The Golden Words of a Sufi Shaikh” page 86:
“My son! A gnani, a drunkard, and a crazy man may look the same to the world.
A gnani loses himself and talks only about God in a manner that may seem unintelligible to most. A drunkard stutters in his drunkenness about family and money matters. A crazy man raves about the past, mumbling over the things which made him crazy. Outwardly the clothes and behavior of all three are exactly the same, and the world classifies all three as crazy.
But if you understand with wisdom and analyze with diving analytic wisdom, you will realize the difference.
A gnani loses himself in God and speaks only of God. As soon as your wisdom realizes this, go to him and pay reverential homage, learn what can be learned, and receive from him whatever you can”.
Bawa. thank you oh God, no thank you oh God, what's next?

Hells" Within You, And In Maturity Has Now Become “Your Mother & Father” Living "A Life" of “Separation And Differences” On “The Illusory Outside” of You, All Living Together As “Your Family”, As "Your Friends", And As "Your Community" of "Like Minded People", But As "Separate From" Each Other on “The Illusory Outside” of You, and that is for sure.
Bawa. All of Which In Truth, That Is, “The You” Part of You, That Is, As Now "You" Living "A Life" of "Separation and Differences" On Some “The Illusory Outside” of You, Is Just “A Dream”, Which Just Ends At “Your Grave”, if you like, That Is, “If You Are Not A Wise Child”, Now For Your Age, And Instead You Are “Just A Foolish Child”, Now For Your Age, As Bawa Teaches Us, Ending "The 8th Hell" Within "The 7 Hells" Within "Your Mind" Within You, and that is for sure.

For In Truth This “You” Part of You, Now Also Exists As “The 8th Hell” Within You, That Has Come Out of “The 7 Hells” Now “Living and Thriving” Within “Your Mind” Within You, All of Which In Truth Has Now Fully Manifested Within “Your Mind” Within You, As Now “The Very Real But False” Part of “Your Life”, Within Which God Is Just Waiting To Fully Manifest "Himself", Within God Within “, As “The God Part of “Your Life”, Which In Truth Is “The Everything” of God Within “Your Life”, if you like, That Is, As “The Very Real and True” Part of “Your Life”, and that is for sure.
Bawa. So, My Dearest Loving Children, “Your Life” Is Made Up of “Two Parts”, Both Given To “Your Life” By God, When “Your Life” Came Into “The World”, Not “You”, That Is, “The Mind” Part of You, Which Bawa Calls “The Dunya”, Or “The Earth World”, Which Dawned Within "Your First World", And Then Completely Swallowed It, And Now Has Fully Manifested As "Your Second World", And Now Within It, As “Everything” That Was First Manifested By God As “His Creation”, Within “Your First World”, Or “Awwal”, Or “The World of God’s Creation”, Within God Within You, and that is for sure.
Bawa. So, My Dearest Loving Children, In Truth “Your Current Life” Is Now “The Second World” In “God’s Story” Within God Within You, Which Dawned In “The First World” In “God’s Story”, And Completely Swallowed “The First World” In “God’s Story”, Just Waiting To Next Become “The Third World” In “God’s Story”, When “The Third World” Dawns Within “The Second World” And Then Completely Swallows “The Second World” In “God’s Story”, and that is for sure.
Bawa. But In Truth "Your Life” Is Now In Complete Ignorance of God Within “Your Life”, And of "These Two Parts" Within "Your Life", That Is, of “The Mind” Part Within “Your Life”, Now Fully Manifested Within "Your Mind" Within You, And of “The God Part" Within Your Life”, As Now “The Great Potential” of "Your Life" Now Hidden By God Within “The Mind” Part of “Your Life”, And Now In Complete Ignorance of “The Reality” of “These Three Worlds” Within “Your Life” Within You, Which When Working Together As “One”, Makes Up “This Extraordinary Process" of God Within “Your Life” Within You, and that is for sure.
Bawa. That Is, As “The Reality” of “These Three Worlds”, And of "These Two Parts" of "Your Life", Within “Your Life” Within You, Which When Working Together As “One”, Makes Up “This Extraordinary Process" of God Within “Your Life” Within You, That Is, Now of “God Witnessing God” Awakening To Himself Within “The Heart” of “The One” Who Will Truly “Let Himself End” In God, For The Benefit of All of “The Creation of God” Within “The 18,000 Universes”, Within Man And Within God, And Within God And Within Man, So “In The End” There Is “No Child Left Behind”, So In “The End” There Is Nothing Still “Separating You From You”, and that is for sure.
